![]() The lodge's private label body wash, and hand soap gave both of us a terrible rash on our hands and arms. Unfortunately, the bed was really uncomfortable as were the pillows. ![]() The villa was cute, clean, upgraded and had a nice balcony with a pretty view. The resort itself is very nice, clean, upgraded, and the location is great. It seems there were other packages going on the same weekend for families so not really the romantic or relaxing atmosphere they promoted or pictured for the Sweetheart package. We rarely go away on our own without our young kids so we were excited. It also included a few meal vouchers for the restaurant and an 80 minute massage for each of us. The package included a two night stay in one of the 1-bedroom villas. My husband and I booked their Sweetheart's getaway package to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Would love to visit in the off-season next time.… Only complaint would be that at approx $500/night once tax was added, it’s a very pricey hotel for a “lodge”! Check-in/check out times are 4pm/10am and strict due to COVID. A station for refilling water bottles is available. They also have a laundry area and microwaves on the main floor, a cute general store with snacks and souvenirs and classes you can pay extra for each day like glassblowing, painting and basket weaving. Rooms were very nice and comfortable for our family of 4 with a small fridge and space for our cooler and what felt like a ridiculous amount of gear. Pool bar drinks & grill food weren’t quite as good but we were glad to have food/drink options available. My open air massage with Lani was amazing! The food & drinks at the restaurant were great (but $$$). If we ever come back to Yosemite this would be the place we would want to stay and if we lived in the Bay area I could easily seeing making a week at this resort an annual tradition to enjoy such breathtaking natural beauty and a fun time for families.…īeautiful hotel, grounds & rooms with so much to do for kids! Pool, zip lines, slides, s’mores, fire pits, game room, just to name a few. Service was friendly-one of the waitresses was fantastic while the other waiter we had one night was a bit more flustered so not as great of an experience (but understand since staffing must be difficult). The restaurant was booked for dinner the two nights we were there (they managed to get us in but it was a bit of juggling). The one downside is there is nothing close to this so from an eating standpoint you either eat in Yosemite park, drive 30 minutes to the nearest town, or make reservations at their restaurant. The pool was wonderful at night (the pool is open 24 hrs), the ping pong table fun, and loved the game room (we borrowed Clue and really enjoyed it both of our nights there). This was our first resort experience and we loved the nightly s’mores they had for the children and the different activities they had planned-some for a fee such as glassmaking while others are complementary such as s’mores. The bathroom was spacious and loved the modern touches and I miss the rosemary scented hand wash! We loved the balcony as well as the views of the stars from outside. The rooms were beautiful with natural wood and were the cleanest among the three hotels we stayed at during our CA vacation (despite this one ironically being the lowest nightly rate of the three). I’m a bit surprised it is ranked lower than it’s sister property since the rooms are new and clean and love that it’s fairly accessible from Yosemite National Park (fifteen minutes from the entrance on a fairly flat road). ![]() We stayed here for two days and it was amazing and we wished we had stayed longer! We booked it since it was on the tripadvisor center of excellence.
